almost entirely made with freeware!!
only exceptions: juno-60, cubase, electric mistress, pulse, flstudio, vintagewarmer (only in mastering stage)
everything else is done with freeware... didn't use a single sample that came off a sample cd either...
not to be stubborn, but to show that it CAN be done without all the things that are considered so essential by so many people. i have to admit that i would probably have a better result if i had used more payware (like the waves-plugins for example)
i hope that this result is to ur liking, all comments are welcome, also the negative ones!!

This is some wicked sicked uptempo track, especially this rollercoaster sound that comes gliding in at 3:30 ... whooooeeee.. hehe nice work!  |

updated after lot's of comments (on other fora, through pm's and through messenger)... I made more variation in the melody of the first half, i changed the song-structure to make it less boring, reproduced it completely (gained more then 1dB before mastering), and mastered it less agressively to make it less tiring to listen to.

another update, hopefully the last one... I have to (well, i obligated myself to) spin this song this friday the 20th of may, so i could really use the input!! If u can see some glaring omission or error that i didn't notice, please tell me! This song already got a lot better because of previous comments...
I completely redid the bassline/kick rom scratch, it was just too bad to try and salvage it... I hope it sounds good now, i compared it to 'kindzadza-back to the future' to see if it's produced correctly. And i think (hope) i nailed it this time... |
