IN THE ACTIVITIES AREA:
we will have -
yoga, chi kung, oriental dançes, meditacion. workshops about shiatsu, biodinamic massage, tuina.

Cork oak tree forest
Elvas and Campo Maior, where Freedom Festival is, shows us one of the more interesting Europe natural landscapes: the cork oak tree “montados”, entranced by olives and prune production.
It is based in this humanized ecosystem that we will see some of its details, relating them to the importance of its preservation and conservation.
Portugal, despite of the reduced area, produces more cork oak that all the remaining portion of the World, what only for itself it explains the interest that the cork oak tree deserves from us. The cork oak is of the trees more abundant in our Country, placing itself in busy area soon to follow the pine. Quercus Suber it is the only producing cork of the Mediterranean region. But the “montados” do not produce only cork. Also it has interest and value the fruit (“lande”), the firewood, de exterior wood and the wood.
FREEDOM KIDS:
Finaly for this activities area, we will entertain your kids with lots of activities during the day 8am to 15:30 (3:30pm). activities in the water, body painting, tradicional portuguese games and lots of things to make your kids happy and occupied when you enjoy the live acts. please just be carefull to give them lunch and catch them until 15:30..
IN THE MASSAGES AREA:
we will have -
shiatsu , tuina , terapy , biodinamic , holistic and rebalancing.
this areas will work for your relax and healt being. we have professionals working in each area to provide you the best!!

yeah, great line up, but where are the portuguese artists?
Nice going, spanish organization not inviting ANY portuguese artist, to a huge trance festival in Portugal ...
is Menog or Suria unfamilliar?
What about progressive artists?
Not even one?

yeah you are right,
there must be a reason why Clockwise is not acting.
And there must be another strong reason why Menog or Suria are not acting.
And a tottaly diferent reason, for why no progressive artist were invited, like Pena or other influent person on this so called respectfull movemente...

well, my intuition somehow tells me that these people we are metioning are not welcome ...
You know, I remember the first boom festival back in 1997.
Those days, no one was special, or had special atention, or popstar attitude, or were Gurus, or Masters, or superheroes of the scene.
Those days you couldn't tell the DJ from the rest of the crowd.
And you had there playing the most known DJ's as well as others that were no so known, (some of them portuguese, if you can believe) but had their chances at a BOOM, wich i must say is a really good attitude from the promoters.
But i guess you have to be a supa-dupa-poptrance star to be on the freedom...
they have theirs standards, and they are preety high, like family and friends ... |

but i dont blame anyone that wants to go there to have a good time, and hear music of their peasure.
Good friends of mine are going..
I just feel its not that fair for the locals, who already proved enough.
More, if this is the kind of situation that happens beacause of labels, and promoters, and the bonds between them. Well that's even worst,imo, beacause it shows how twisted things get at this level.
When this kind of party promotors only invite friends, and are tottaly closed to diversity.
"Pure" party promotors like goodmood crew, are never closed, and give what people want BEFORE what they want, and like, and support.
(at least the Boom Festival)

i can't wait i hope this festival saves my summer after the big shit it was the updown festival... where can i see the exact location? and how can i get there by bus from santarem?
