Free VST for Picked Acoustic Contra Bass?

Dear colleagues,
Is there a free VST (or Synth) that really sounds like real picked acoustic contra bass?
Something that is getting close to a sound like for example spectrasonics trilogy:

I would like to use it as standard midi acoustic bass for the stage.
I found great tools like DeltaSP, Crystal, Sonik Synth 2 Free, Sampletank 2 free, Plugsound free, VB-1, Muon Tau, 4Front Bass Module and some others, but none of them gets close to an acoustic bass.
If you know any other pointer, please let me know.

i use samples for this.. since i need them a lot for DnB... but i never found a plugin that does this, i think it's very hard to make too, since it's a string instrument and u can 'pick' it in different ways... But if anyone knows about one, i'm very interested in an instrument like this too...
For samples, try acoustic jazz-records, without singers, you'll find some good samples eventually |

I'm currently using shortcircuit free, but I'm open for any other free sampler.
If someone could point me to some corresponding samples I would appreciate the help. |

I have the same problem, since I need the doublebass for my downtempo/jazz tracks.
Anyway, I'm using Reason for that, their sampler has a nice, but not great acoustic bass sounds.
Little tweaking in cubase can make it a bit better.
Also, I'm looking forward if someone can reccomend a vst for this. |

I don't know if it would help to use a different sampler than shortcircuit free or the one build in delta sp.
I'm open for any (hopefully free) suggestions. |
