Free-Spirit Vol.5 ‘Mutual Reality’Compiled by Jay OM
Emanating from the spirit world comes Mutual Reality, bearing more gifts than the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus combined. It is Volume 5 in the ever-popular series of compilations from London-based label, Free-Spirit, and compiled by label head honcho Jay OM.
London based it may be but as with previous Free-Spirit releases Mutual Reality features the totality of the modern Psy universal. Such as, South Africa’s The Commercial Hippies and a track from their 2005 album, If You Cant Stand the Heat, Get Out of the Chai Room, remixed by Journey, Brazil’s Made on Earth and their tune Imagination and, from Mexico, In Lak Ech with Apologies Civilization (they should not be apologising we should be saying thanks). Plus Braincell from Switzerland with Analog Force and the Chilean Ital and Copal, proving there are no boundaries in this universe.
But a Free-Spirit compilation would be nothing without contributions from its stable of on-the-money men (persons) and Mutual Reality does not disappoint. So anticipate killer contributions from M-Theory, Changing Worlds and collaboration between Dickster and Tron, Propaholic.
But where is Journey and Jay Om? I hear you ask. Fear not, Journey can be found teaming up with fellow Free-Spiriter Monastic Squid with Itaca and Jay OM has done the same with good buddy Cimi laying down Wopping Wops (what does it all mean?)
So, all the ingredients for another Free-Spirit must have. Mutual Reality, out now!
