OSX it's not the audio workstation for the sidechain compressor - this is not a good question.

the question is: whchich audioworkstation SUPPORTS the sidechaining with the thisrd party pluggins?

i meant that all depends on your main audio sequencer (workstation) wchich supports/or not sidechaining option.

for example: Logic does not support this option with the 3rd party compressors. (generally - EAS Neodynium is one of these fully working fine, Waves C1 works in mono mode but needs some really tricky knowhow:))

Logic allows sidechaing with it's own dynamic plugins (wchich is enough for me in most cases) - no problems.

so the answer is: if u buy logic audio u get free sidechain compressor!!!!

Well I'm working on ableton and I can make a sidechain compressor with reaktor. So the answer is yes, you can with 3rd party plugins.

Anyway reaktor use too much of my cpu just for sidechaining and that's why I need a free one..           --
