I havent heard of any.. I mean the techno parade was free but thats like a city event...

There are free parties in France, but They are illegal and this is not trance music (government (and police) disapprove it). Trance party are legal and so they are not free.
Mademoiselle Gazelle is right, the Techno Parade is a city event, we don't consider that as a free party...

In my country (Greece) we have some free trance partys in Universities for example.
Is legal because the students make it and a lot of ppl attent there.
Maybe you can do the same.
The authorities don't have problem with this because is a school party if you know what I mean and they have not premision to get in.

There some free trance parties organised in France. But they are locally organised by small promoters and for legal reasons, few communication are made on them.
In France police is harassing frees parties. And the free scene is driven by hardcore and hardtek sound systems.
This year, the major free event held was during May Teknival near Paris where 2 trance sound systems participed. |

About the first part of your post I think you talk about prive partys. Is ok but I don't mean that.
About the Teknivals I know they have some trance soundsystems but I think they have problems with authorities also.

yes you re right it s some small private parties who are canned by the cops... most of the free parties are hardcore ,hardtek like dj Fx said, before it was trance too but now it s dead. |

wow we have a bunch of free parties here in portugal.... most of them have good vibes too.. of course being free u always get some bad partys full of ugly ppl lol... but thats mostly when its close to the city... outdoors mostley...of course

i just love the walls of soundsystem at free parties!!! always counted in kilos and never weak.... in the south of france there have been some good ones, but as mentioned, there's hardly no communication... sometimes you gotta be lucky to find one.
but some crazy shit. psytrance is just the opposite
