hey i'm looking for a simple tone generator, where i can select simple waveforms, and frequency as a VST instrument...

is anything really good and free like that ?

i hear that nuendo have this sort of a plugins (freeware) ...anyone care to send me the dll or confirm this?

what waveforms do you want? and what sort of controls - do you want any amplifier envelopes, filters anything or just the most basic tone generator?

hey

@ Aeon - yeah..i'm looking for a very basic one, like simples sine wave, and a frequency field where i can insert the disired freq (or create a midi note on the freq i want)

i've tested some freeware tonegenerator by Aaron Cavanaugh, but i i can't create a sinewave with the amplitude from the begining till the end being equal... the attack is high than the sustain (?) of the note played.

@astrologic - have any ens for that ?

do you want to be able to insert the frequency in hz, khz etc.? if you don't mind simple octave/note/fine/pitch controls, here is a very basic one:

i can change the basic ADSR for a better multi-stage envelope quite easily, and can add a scope if you want, but it might take longer to set up a frequency input with hz/khz etc.

not so intuitive as there are no real time controlers , but if u know what u need is very simple

but its not Vst.
