Mate..just get this kind of thing..and you will never worry about bassdrums any more..promise!!
http://www.jomox.de/product_details.php?lang=1&category=1&product_id=4
sorry i do not know where i can get an english explanation..but its just a real bassdrum synth..where you can just start up with kind of impulse and change it the you like..and perform program changes like with every synth..its actualy a crazy tool..i got it right in front of me to test it out..and i have to say..its really woth it..even if i hae to deal with some latency..but that is not a problem with the synth..just with my integration skills for the moment..i could send you some examples and thats crazy analog feeling..on the stressing point of your track.....the kick drum...just ad some cronox or whatever you use for bass..and you will have great time..just to manipulate your kickdrum...there are even some 808 and 909 recovers out from jomox..wich are actualy quite interesting..but what i do not like is,that there is no english desciption for their tool...will talk to them tomorrow to make this happen..
enjoy the night!!

@medea> just tweak ur kick and bounce (then load in a sampler), if u play it midi all the way it will be buggy for sure |

as far as i remeber, Bazzism crashed my DAW when loaded, or even the whole PC hanged up.
Actually, I live without it and it's ok too =)
