No no no my friend TaraDula, I will tell you what is rave, it's about going to a party like you did, listening to Uriel's set and having a blast time like you did, and then come here and say that Bansi's set was killerrr like you did!
Some ppl don't give a shit about the artist (greek or no greek, Thessaloniki or Athens or Honolulu), they just need to go to a party every week no matter what, that's why they complain about the price.
I'm not a frequent goer of parties, I guess I belong to a generation that has stopped attending the gigs because of too much jerkiness around, but yes I would support this one because I have heard the works of Yotopia and Higher Human Form and Proteus and it's worth it, and I don't care if it's FF or Mr Whoever hosting them.

u know about booking prices but u dont know fabio and alfedo garcia?and the"others"(dereinspunkt,audiomatic..)were u at those parties ??nobody had fun man,those"totally unknown artists"didnt played the supermusix,it was awfull,i allmost suffered there!!!!its as simple as this,if u dont like(or dont know)the line up,or if u dont like the price or the "6hour lasting"(from 1 to 8:30-9 6 hours?????) or anything else,dont show up.leave "us and our friends" dancing with those "unknowns". but having this attitude,it seems suspicious to me.this is not an attack.free frequency is trying to satisfythe minimal/prog trance listeners by organizing those events(most of those for first time in greece).if u want something else,u know where to find it!!! |

Refresh your English dear, what he said about Bansi was ironic, read it again and stop saying the same thing a 100 times!
Nobody said they are not worth it and nobody said about not supporting them, of course we are, but ppl can have their opinion about the price especially when their pocket is not so fat!
When you start writing you were polite and objective, I really don't know what's got in to you now!

Everyone has his own opinion about a party (entrance fee or djs lineup).If you don't like it don't take this..too simple..

What we are trying to achieve with the F.F parties my friend taradula is, as x-rust said ,to satisfy the music needs of a great number of people(minimal/progressive listeners),BUT ALSO to give the opportunity to peole that dont know these artists, or dont listen to this specific kind of trance,to listen to something new .......
Your question was: why should someone pay 25-30 euros for some projects that just us and our friends know or have heard about.......
Well let me tell you this:Just because you dont know them ,that doesnt mean that they are not worth it........Afterall these are some of the most famous names/producers in the world ,represending a style that unfortunatelly took us ages to discover!!!!
And yet,instead of being happy about it and grab the opportunity to finnaly OPEN OUR EARS, we prefer to listen the same /usual stuff for another year......just because we know them.....
My point is: If you can not evaluate the music,the effort and the opportunity that is being given to you,feel free to choose your next party......

It doesn't matter if the name is Yotopia or Dali or Sbk the thing is that it is a little bit expensive and it is only for one foreign artist, just one name. Of course I agree that we should listen to artist who come for the first time in Greece and nobody said anything for that, I think it is a great opportunity for us but because we all know a little bit about bookings, 26 euros are a lot for that! You can bring the artist you want and continue this good job you do and put less entrance fee! Thats all!

I'am sorry I'am a little confused here..
we talking about 2 projects here..
you thing Higher Human 'll play for free ?
+ 1 guest dj (Doc doesn't belong to FF team)
..or he doesn't count cause he is greek?
I hear people combare the prices with other parties in our town..
Ok eternal make great parties with 5-6 projects every time ..and i'll be there for neelix and ticon
But is differend to have 2 stages and 800-1000 people every time and differend to have 200-250 people .. think about that..
Anyway I believe 26e is a reasonable price ..
both projects have allready released an album and they are wanted acts around the globe.
FF gives you the oppurtinity to listen to these brilliant artists ..and you make them feel sorry about that?.. I personaly waited for a long time to see yotopia live
They are gonna brake the stage down..

The point here is that to book a greek project is more more cheapest for out country booking mate.
Higher Human wants 3 euro to come from panorama

Goodmorning!!!! This is really rave and Greece once more proved it!!!Bad rave rave.. nice one people but it's ok!!!We have to expect everything from everyone don't worry guys you can shoot more!!!!Every comment is acceptable when it is creative but here....ohhhhhh!!!!!My god!!!!
Anyway the only point here is MUSIC and RESPECT to yourself and to this scene!!!You are free to go and choose whatever party you prefer...and for those who appreciate something more and have a deeper knowledge of music...they know better what to do..
Please stop this fight and so insulting words...You overpassed the limits here..and you obsuse this forum once more!!!!
Free Frequency will continue this effort and will try to offer more and more...

In the last 2 years many many artists past from our city and this is very good like Movek says but we are leaving in the city of the utilization.So its very normal for me to pay 35,30,26 etc.
We can't blame F.F. for this situation,they find it like this way they keep it this way.
