Making a self extracting exe 1.9GB is not really smart to do.

The executable isn't 1.9GB as such. It is a tiny executable with the compressed data tagged on. The decompression process never takes more than about 25MB of RAM.
It installed fine here.

Yeah I realize the executable segment is tiny, it is the data segment of the file which is big.
I guess the OS is smart enough to not bother loading the whole data segment if it is that large, although I really had my doubts because of some past experiences until you pointed out it only used 25MB at a time.
