So here is the first album of Freakulizer (Simon Schwendener / Switzerland).
The Awakening Process lifts you up out of the darkness into those smiling sunrise moments.
Driving percussion, Uplifting melodies and deep, Powerful and crystal production makes this album shine.
1. Moving In Harmony - 144 Bpm
Started with good atmosphere like i was thinking with such a trackname.
Indeed it’s closer to something like deep emo-tion than to some other Tajun emotionnal stuffs,
Very good track with alot of massive basslines and some groovy that pick you up to the sky.
2. Floating Thru Space - 144 Bpm
Open this up with good atmosphere and gotic vocal, seems to be a drak track then the kicks come out,
All sounds diffreant, Very good groove as in the first track the buildup going very good,
Alot of morning elemants mixed with gotical vocal and its makes it to spacial track.
3. Visualisation - 144 Bpm
This is my favorite track from the album, Orginal moves and morning leads make it shine and beautifull,
Amizing atmosphere with deep sound all makes it to the perfact track in the album
Really not much that i can say just hear it and you will see it alone.
4. Mentality - 145 Bpm
The best melodies I ever heard in the album, Deep feaaling of melodic makes it strong one.
These light crazy sounds make your feel flying away together with blaster breakbeats and deep sounds
So much powerfull that make it to perfect.
5. Choose It or Lose It - 144 Bpm
Deep melodic at the start keeps its very good, kick get in with massive bassline funky very groovy,
Makes u move no matter where are you, Another track that make is yours with alot of deep melo,
Strange sound of guitar this one is very good to.
6. Losing Control - 144 Bpm
Start good with cheezy sound and massive bassline, Again with the light crazy sounds
That make it so spacial and groovy, Lifts you up out to the sunrise moments
With electonic vocals thats conncted to the name of the track, One of the best track, very suprised.
7. A Wonderful Day - 145 Bpm
Begins with a sweet intro the bass line that entery is just make you pump like a crazy,
Bits that fit with the groovy make the track be more faster, Morning sound flying away and get out.
The atmosphere of the track make it very groovy and ravy to the face.
8. Understand Your Life - 144 Bpm
Started funy and groovy with amizing goblin sample that makes the intro alive.
Good track with powerfull and massive groove in this one you will hear amizing fx and grate production.
Simon did it again with amizing deepstyle makes his own style, good work.
9. Psysex - Soda Pop (Freakulizer Remix) - 137 Bpm
Last track a groovy full on conclusion, this collaboartion leads
To more inspired musical material than the Orginal track. Like it alot to with smashing bassline
And new sounds of Simon taste make is perfect, Very good track to end the album. Play It and Never Stop!

Very nice release. Lot's of nice melody and synth work make this album a standout. I heard Ricardo play 'Mentality' at the S.F. Youth show this past weekend. Soda Pop remix is a nice ending - keep making music like this!

It's pretty good but when compared to other great artists in this style (like Protoculture for example) I think it pales... a little. Still, a nice release if you're looking for some melody in your tracks. Me, I don't really seem to be able to really sink into this music. I think something is lacking. A certain 'spark' that'll keep me interested, like Protoculture has mastered so skillfully. Oh well... don't want to spoil it for you people, so I'll shut up now

borring stuff same sounds in all tracks like the house chords in all tracks.
there is no criativity at all after 2-3 trax you get the point of this music.
soda pop rmx its a claasic way to destroy a perfect track

you can definitely hear the swiss influence on this album, it's like a well-oiled coucou clock that just keeps going and going and....
this debut album is for my ears really well-done and surprises with sophisticated use of voice samples and refined percussions. the whole album seems like a single story, each track is at the right place to give the right mood.
it gives the impression that there's soo much potential still to be discovered within simon's creative mind.
i'm gonna keep my eyes and ears open whenever i hear freakulizer... well done simon, good luck with your new album
ps: even protoculture's sound at the beginning wasn't as "razor sharp" as we hear it nowadays. it took some time to mature and i believe that freakulizer is heading the same direction, cheers www.frakasoundrecords.com

i actually only heard the soda pop remix, and as a psysex fan - i dont think it falls short at all of anything!
@ bardak - please u seem to have only negative comments, thats fine and all, but how about about working on your "delivery" a bit more then the way you do now, wouldnt that be better for all?
