After listening to this kind of bass,
all other stuff I hear sound 'thin'! If anybody else is working on this or figured out how to control this huge sub bass I'll be happy to exchange ideas... Simon, if you see this, give us some clues man! Great to see you at Aurora festival again. www.myspace.com/antlabros

You control sub-bass by using a subwoofer and use a EQ to level it out But you need to listen in Monitors aswell cause a subwoofer is really hard to work with if your room is not treated and if they are not placed in a good spot...
most psytrance will sound way too bassy on subwoofer that is set to max in a bad room, so its difficult..
but no one said its easy...
The balance of the kick and bass is very nice and narrow, the kick is short but phat, i say sit down and tweak, maybe you wont reach same result but you might get close and you probably will learn something...

Freakilizer! I heard a song from their album recently. They had a song titled "Bassline Tutorial" Nice track.
"Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."
Neo: "What truth?"
Spoon Boy: "There is no spoon."
