Frank was in a weird war with these guys in the 80s.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parents_Music_Resource_Center

They were responsible for getting warning labels on music and that, which Frank was totally against.

Really ashame Frank died young, would love to know what he would think about downloading and mp3s. He always had such unique thoughts on the music industry.

was going to say the same.
sex, rock and roll, but he didn't mention the drugs.

nice video!
i agree. this plastic pseudo-hipster approach to cloning successful acts from 20-40 years ago is getting OLD...
take some risks.
but luckily one need not go with the crowd of music listeners- there is plenty to choose from.
i envy their pr machines however...
wouldn't mind a stadium line array rig to play on either...           check new OCELOT, PROG-A-LOT and more on

@ Ocel...

The guy had a strict policy of dividing music and drugs. When I was in a live concert with Frank Zappa in Berlin, Germany, someone in the very front offered him a big joint, he refused, saying he is working right now, His audience is there to enjoy, so go for it, but not for him, as he needed to concentrate. Seeing that he was conducting his band and playing different instruments at times, I could see why.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
