Check out this really nice synth:

http://www.quikquak.com/Prod_GlassViper.html

I'm really excited about its sound.
Its sound is very organic, making it perfect for pads and such.
But with that raw edge, a bit like the Nord lead, it just sounds crystal clear but never thin or digital harshy.

But the layout is just perfect as well, making this synth very easy to program.

I would place this next to Sylenth1, Rapture, FM8 and Massive as the best sounding synths.

Have fun!

Just donwloaded the demo and its amazing (soundwise) i just cant understand how hard ti to developers to make an init patch specially with synths thats have diffenrent concept.

I have ditched some great synths just because they dont have an init patch i cannot know how good or bad its the design workflow unless i have an init patch.

Unless it very easy to make one (sylenth 1, pro 53)

didnt find it very interesting or special.

and what`s the problem making an init patch in any synth? just turn all the faders to 0 and all the knobs fully counter clockwise . that preety much covers it .
if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

Talking about the perfect layed out synth, here's Circle:

Haven't really used it that much, but it certainly looks great, and it will diminish the workflow interference.

I just wonder why other companies couldn't make a synth that clear and intuitive to work with.

wow,
that circle synth does look amazing! very nice concept. got to play with it when i´m home!

and i have to agree: why the heck are lots of the good synths designed so badly and a pain in the ass to use?

to the original topic: glass viper sounds very nice but is indeed a good example for a synth whith a pain in the ass desing/layout... do like the sound but don´t like to work with it!

Glass Viper is very clear as well, regarding its layout.
Only thing is, you cannot select a preset waveform, you really have to draw them yourself.

Vanguard?

Nah, I don't think vanguard is such a great synth.
It's good for quirky, squelchy filtery sounds, but it's really too limited.

Circle doesn't even sound that great if you scroll thru the presets, but it's capable of very good sounds if you play around with its modulations.
