well... yeah! 24/96 external USB card... with remote control! midi in/out too. check it out:

There is a point working at 24 bit depth: quality control, later you can down sample for CD-R. see.

Do you work with 44.1Khz???
It's a problem if you are trying to work with 96KHZ sample rate,
and all your sample folder full of 44.1Khz
samples! |

well it seems like my thread wasn't in vain...i think there is a base for duscussion growing out of this thread...some Q are why work with 24/96 when you can work with 16/48khz and so on...i work with 24/44.1khz...and there might not be any reasonj for going beyond that......
well any way go on have a discussion about it and may be we all end up doing 16/44.1 or 24/96...well well...keep it up...

For the moment it's 44.1khz samples till I can get more 48 or 96 samples.

I work on 24/96 for the simple reason that I hear audible artifacts when using 16/44. Dunno what the cause, probably the.. bahh.. that thing with complicated name.
Anyway, it sounds better
