Pureuphoria, you can't seriously say "girls are not that good at making music" and not expect people to tell you to fuck off.
Besides the other thread about gay people in trance and your extreme views on that subject, you come in this thread and say that girls are not that good at making music.
Were are you from? Cause I think its your english that makes you come across a bit, well, not very nice when making a point...for example you could have said that, most girls are not that geeky and get all excited about techy stuff and get into computers when they were growing up, so that is why there are not many girls wasting months, pluging cables on a modular synth...cause if you regard women and music, I'd say take a look at the billboard charts in the last few decades or so.

Peace out.

Hey man!:)
Thank you for explaning!
I'm sorry for my English, or different views and ways of expressing my opinion.
I dont really care if its Y or X gender that is making GOOD music(in context:psychedelic), all I say is that it is very rare to see a girl that is as good(i dont mean geek) in music production as a boy.
For sure they are tolereated because often they are our inspiration and we love them very much. Y has something that X hasn't and reversal - we're one, and we're different - thats all)) very simple.

It just seems that some ppl even like to think that girls got bananas too!)))
And its "funny"..sorry)

girls are awesome on making music... but from my experience they kinda suck on producing it well.

all in all i dont find any difference between men and women music creation wise.

and you gotta love Pureuphoria he is the epitome of what is wrong on this planet in terms of gender equality..           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

...before it gets too ridiculous I'd like to say that what I wrote stuff regarding digital music-production only, and it wasnt meant to get Ideological anyhow.

"gender equality"?? - I'm afraid we both mean different things when we say that)

disco hooligans - Yeah all those billboard artists has major sex-appeal, both male and female.

Of course there is no argue that the majority of producers that sit behind the big mixing desks are male.

So instead we ask the question, why is it like this,
well simply put, its the roles that are handed out.
And if these roles are changed some people get insecure.

People should do what they like to do, no matter gender, and the all might law of "practice makes perfect" apply to everyone.

I think in this case music speaks its own language, and its infact totally gender liberated when it comes to touching emotions or telling a story, or communicating something.

For example i love Sophie Zelmani and can sometimes relate to her music.

I think women, on average, tend to have minds stronger in the abstract artistic/emotional side than in the technical/logical/systematic side. Which is not to say that all women are worse than all men at technical stuff but on average it works out that way

The next question is whether this trait is innately biological or caused by social factors.
