I guess is about time to see a release with just Female producers, what you think?!!!
As far as I know there isnt such a cd around yes?
Its a great opportunity and I know a lot of talented girls out there making music that will blast!!!

If im not mistaken... Lycantrop Rcds is plannin an all femme fatale lineup for this year as one of their releases. so there u go

oh, come on, just let the music speak for itself. In this scene, women are not discriminated against, there just aren't that many who make music.
This is going to sound bitter (and maybe it is), but I've watched so many females start getting paying gigs all over the place 2 months after they make their first mix. I dj'd for about 10 years and have probably had less gigs than most female dj's who've been playing for a year or less. In fact, one female DJ who played essentially all the same tracks as me started usurping me and taking over all the spots for chillout dj's that in the past would have gone to me (being one of the very few psychill dj's in the area) despite her having been mixing for a month... its kind of annoying and makes me wonder how many more parties I would have played at if I had just put a pair of tits on the insert for my demo cd.
i understand wanting to give everyone a chance, but the whole "all female lineup", or what you're talking about with "all female producers" seems like its all about the fact that sex sells

it's hard enough to find good music already, the last thing I'm gonna do is limit my source to gender
this is as stupid as making compilations limited on geographical location
there's nothing wrong with the simple "if you like it release it" rule...don't care if the producer is a man or a woman

Totally missunderstood my statement and my desire as to what i have asked!
I dont care who made it and from what country it is, as long as the track sounds good to my ears...!!!
What I said was that we want a cd with female producers, due to the fact that there are loooots of girls out there making music
