Did a search but found nothing on it...
The Focusrite Liquid Mix,
32 DSP channels of vintage eqs and compressors.
http://www.focusrite.com/index.php?pageName=showLargeProdImage&productName=liquid_mix&imageName=front
There is also a very nice alticle about it in Sound on Sound of this month, where they give the list of all the convultion emulations done so far...and what an exaustive list!
IŽll get my hands on one as soon as the PC versiuon is out , definetelly my next investment!
Anyone Liquid Mix users in here?
Anyone thinking about getting one?
Pls post opinions and experiences

Well, its been really well reviewed in sound on sound, and it was the first product ever to get a 10/10 in computer music...and the price, for what you get...is quite amazing

Not really. Personaly I would spend a little bit more on a TC PowerCore. There are MUCH more tools available for that platform.
I'm not too impressed by the whole convolution paradigm. (Except for Reverb and weird FX).
It gives you the freqency, phase and non-linearity plots of some vintage gear. So what? The Frequency plot can be done by just tweaking an EQ to taste. The Phase plot doesn't interest me. (I prefer no or minimal phase changes when EQing). And it gives you the distortion of some vintage gear. I'm not too interested.
Also, what the SOS article (and probably others) don't explain is that the dynamics section of the Liquid Mix is based on a very regular digital dynamics processor which adds the convolution multiplication dynamicly based on the gain reduction being applied. The important thing to remember is that it is just a regular digital compressor like so many others ...
Keep in mind that 99% of the time I am looking for the cleanest possible processing. If that is not what you are after, the Liquid Mix might be the right thing for you.
Frankly, I think that just the Sony Inflator and Sony Limiter available for the PowerCore are more interesting than the whole Liquid Mix. Don't forget that the LM is just compressors and EQs and that's all.

picking up that you point out powercore, i was one step away to spend my next budget for getting some sony-stuff for my poco (focusing the transmod and eq). LM is the argue to hold on with just because of the price/product-argue. if you gain for the highest quality for sure sony is the one. but in my eyes bying sony-plugins is inefficient compared to the LM which seems allready giving a very high sound-quality in return too.
but it could also be that my eyes are blind because of good promotion
do you now how the sound of a LM-eq can stand against a sony oxford? any experiences undertow?
