I have scoured many forums in particular gearsluts and the general consensus is the Solo6's get the uppher hand over the BM6A's but i am worried that ost of these people are mainly using them for mixing bands and pop type music.
With us dealing mainly in pure electronica i wanted to ask this board if anyone has been fortunate enough to A/B these two different products and could offer some insight to a potential buyer.
My next natural step is to take a long a few CD's and give them both a propper testing for a couple hours in a shop i haven't quite yet found.
Any info on either would be appreciated.

Wouldn't you like to work and mix any type of music? How can "pure electronica" be put in the same equation along with choosing which monitors you are going to use? I honestly believe that a good monitor works for everything, the output is flat and accurate on response axis.
Would you be having 2 or 3 pairs of different monitors for different types of music styles to mix?
I'm sorry that I haven't A/B tested these monitors to give you a better answer, but I can tell you that many electronic musicians have the Dynaudio BM6 monitor.

I used to own Dynaudio BM6A & while they're good monitors they do have their faults. They're slightly hyped & once i moved on to better monitors i found out many flaws in my mixes that never showed up on the BM6A.
I haven't personally heard the Solo6 but they do get a lot of praise so i would probably go for the focals. Monitors are a very personal choice though so it would be best if you could audition both in your studio & decide for yourself.

i can start and say that my old pair of monitors was dynaudio BM5a.....
the last month or so i demo in my STUDIO dynaudio BM6a , adam P22 , and focal twin 6 (i want to demo the solo as well, but i had to choose between the solo and the twin for demo since my music shop order specially for me the focal for demo.....),i want to demo k&h o300,but they out of my league at the monent (1600 euro more then the focal's....).
between my old pair and the one that i demo,i choose in the end the focal twin 6
it worth the extra money, and its the best investment that i did recently.
all i can tell you is demo the monitors in your studio not in the shop, and dont skip on acoustic treatment.....
good luck with you new monitors.
