i would go for it mostly for psy fm leads these days..i dont know it deep enough anymore,i used fm7 but so long ago i forgot everything about programin this synth.. but it s versatile and can make plenty of great sounds, i remember some full on producers using it a lot.
have to try it for fm percussion and drums.. |

FM8 is also great for basses and for percussive instruments aswell, actually for evrything. Don't know if he makes his leads with it, but there is a tutorial about skrillex fm8 wobble bass somewhere around. I agree all Native Insruments stuff rocks! Absynth and FM8 is the might  2 absolutely different synths and each isa king of his league.

both are very good, Ni komplete is the best package in software imo , no need anyhting else to make tunes, once you learn these tools inside out you releaze are good they are ..
Ni really push things forwards and define futur sound with their tools.. lot of the new genres that emerged come from using their soft . if you want modern sound or futuristic one it s perfect |
