firstly i'ld like to say hi! i'm new here!
k
now to the subject at hand...
i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on producing noize and sine waves to get that winding up jet like sound and the wooshing/slaping sort of sound you hear on fills and build ups in heaps of psytrance.it's an element that people really respond to.
i know i do...
i haven't been atempting to make psy for very long
i use to make minmal techno...
then i saw infected mushroom and hallucengen live
blew my head cleeeeean off...
anywho..
i think there is eq/filter,flange/phazer,delay,reverb used..but how to actually put this all into practice i dunno..i've tried but i'm not getting the results..
sooo it's come down to posting on forums! ...
applogies if this is been asked before..
any help would be greatly appreciated...
oh i have sound forge on my pc and peak 4 on my laptop(mac)
harreohm!

Or you can use a long LFO in (e.g.) albino for that rising sound on the main pitch and then create the sounds using the 4 oscillators (FM as well) - you can make some serious risers like that

apply the LFO (you can also use envelope's attack) to a bandpass filter (increasing the pitch) for a nicer effect. |
