u know what, u just triggered the idea, I could use some synth with resynthesis capabilities and FM synthesis option, ah that could do just fine.. or even better, sampler with FM capabilities..           http://www.facebook.com/xrayzproductions

yeap I think it does.. but u can load only waveform samples in it, and I think its just factory ones
I think chameleon 5000 will work for this one, or in second case, using abletons sampler would be great, but Im not sure does it have FM, will see..           http://www.facebook.com/xrayzproductions

well that radio noise when u change the stations.. now if I could resynthesize 3 different samples in chameleon and add some noise or sampled noise from radio and morph between these four it could sound convincing if not better..
basically Im searching for a way to use my own samples and simulate radio shuffling between them.. or just one of them..
I still have to try sampling noise and crossfading it, will see how it sounds, if its good I can just put it on master and thats it, problem solved..           http://www.facebook.com/xrayzproductions

what I meant about MaxMsp or the environment in Logic, is that you can build your own plugins or tools, kind of like the same in reaktor or even Synth Edit. Now in the video, I suspect he was just using a dummy fader to simulate having a radio station, something he probably just grabbed from a sample disk, or sampled from the radio, because yeah it would be much more complicated then just having a fader, or radio dial.           Gamma Riders EP out now on iTunes and Amazon.com!

actually that Radio FX plugin looks pretty cool:
http://love1kt.harisen.jp/vst.html

I would use that for your effect, and then when you want to bust into your song use another channel.

used creatively you could come up with the same thing. ironically, its something you can't use on Logic/Mac, so I feel kinda short changed :-/

an interesting sidenote, another plugin on that page the ESX-150 is a VSTi version of a small analog synth that was designed by one of my coworkers. crazy

FM sounds great on analog modular synths. The VCOs on the Doepfer make really nasty and rough sort, with them being unstable and everything.
