So.. after giving it quite a bit of listens.. I felt like we could have had 2 TRACKS MORE ......!
Less than 1 hour of FIELD ROTATION music isnt enough...!
Yes 2 mOre tracks and this would have been EPICC..!
oHH Welll still its so well crafted...!
Tiefflug all the way..!

There's gonna be a full Field Rotation album next year. Relax...

I am relaxed dude.. just enthusiastic... generally you get to see album or compilations to be around the 70 minute mark these days... so was just asking.....! Nothing else....!
bOom..!

well, after all, it's an EP release and most EP's are around 30,45 minutes long in total time, so considering that this is an EP with total running time of 56 minutes of music I'll say that it's quite nice !

there are some Albums with shorter total running time.

and Licht und Schatten is definitely one of the most longest EP's I heard, compring to most EP's out there.

this EP is only an appetizer to Field Rotation's debut album on Fluid Audio.

cheers !

You could always add Parallelwelten to Licht Und Schatten, and then you'd have just over an album's length of the parallel worlds of light and darkness.

Just a thought....

Some good points about making the release longer and it is something we contemplated but...

When we first discussed the release coming into fruition it was only intended to be a 4 track digital project.

After careful consideration myself and Christoph both felt that a limited edition cd version should also be made available and so the extra three tracks appeared for cd.

I guess we could of added more tracks but felt this was just about right until the full album appears next year.

However...

Hold tight as we have a nice little surprise coming your way at Christmas

Thanks Dan.

Personally I think it is fine the way it is. You're right, you already did us a great service by extending the 4 tracks to make it 7 - and it is appreciated.

I'll certainly be looking forward to seeing what surprise the Fluid stocking holds come xmas time...

We have been bombarded with emails over the last week or so asking if we have any copies left over...

I am afraid they have all gone from the Fluid Audio store as well as Databloem store.

Ultimae had a few copies but I think they are only being sold directly from the new shop in Lyon.
May be worth contacting them to see if they will sell you a copy.

Tho only other place I know that has any for sale (3 copies went on sale yesterday) is Experimedia.

They can be obtained from here:

Many thanks,

Dan

Given myself a few weeks of listening before adding another post.

Field Rotation is simply amazing!
He creates such atmosphere and feeling within his tracks and this release has become highly addictive in my daily playlists.

Including the Regenzeit and also the remix every track he has so far made is 100% creativity and I can't wait for his full album next year.

If there was a prize for best new comer artist this guy would win hands down in my opinion.

Respect

this was delivered to me at work some time ago.

i've had it on high rotation at home.

unfortunately i forgot about the poster that came with it. the rolled up poster spent an extra few weeks in the backpack i take to work. i found it last weekend completely flattened.

i unrolled it and there were a few scratches but is relatively unscathed.

spewin'! cos it's a great photo.

Ya, poster is cool. Is hanging in my hallway now. ... but don`t mind DjSchofield just create imaginary pictures through the music. Can even be more beautiful, maybe.
