of course u can speed up.
but does it matter if it pitches up also?
anyhow - you can speed up without hurting the pitch, but that will cost you in quality sounding... Pitching hurts quality also -
- anyway - speeding up or slowing down waves hurts their quality - so if it's a small part, it won't matter much.
