Flashback parties!!

So, i`ve recently been at one of flashback parties....So, It`s so beautiful...end the success of it is defined by very good selections of tracks (old tracks 96-99)...I felt positive, very positive during all party.....So, i consider, that it`s a pretty idea to conduct more flashback parties.So, what do You think about it?

we call it "retro" and we surely have it;)
i've read some of the reports (at aeroboard) and happy for you guys, this is really great!

i dont know.. i dont like this kind of partys..
its look like somebody die so everybody try to make a good memory..
might be if i wasnt haved enough of this stuff at real time so i was able to dance to it but after couple of years that only option i haved was goa trance i prefer look forward to new kind of pleseare. |

i think i wont like it much..
like Zombi Cocktail i prefer new music..
i don't want to come to a party and know all the tracks...
i need new tracks in parties...
and i don't like goa aswell.. |

Ok...if you don`t like goa, you don`t want to listen to Gamma Goblins(for example) on the powerful sound system, do you??.....there are a lot of old tracks , but some of them sound so good on the club sound system and it`s real excitement to listen to them and you hair rises...so, i also like parties with new trance, but it`s so good to add variety in you club party program....So, If you come to the newtranceparty after pretty "retro"-party, you`ll feel more excitement, than before at these parties.....

I think that some goa in the morning (9AM and later) will just make me dance much better than progressive or fullon. And that's where the retro parties are stronger IMO - the late morning. You just can't beat goa classics late in the morning, with all due respect to Insect Sun and other wonderful new acts.
At night though - there's no comparison. Sweden rules the night, like I said before. I just feel that most DJs are scared of putting tracks older than half a year or so (excluding a few, way to go Gula K  ). New is not necessarily better, but a good mix of both is what I need. I love a good surprise, but I'll always smile when I hear a true timeless classic at a party.
