Thank you for the constructive advice, that's my problem though, not solution; percussionist, play guitar, keyboard and most instruments, which is why struggle so much writing psy... Have a habit of playing complete unique tracks that sound classic, which doesn't translate easily into short phrases; so beginning to learn a new technique of minimizing every sound, yet that's still only partially there.
Ask me to play psy on a djembe in a rave and can do that, yet ask me to translate that into a mathematical formula and it discombobulates me for years.
Also if you listen to my tracks, you will see that unable to imitate, rather its all created translated innovated related. www.wizanda.comwww.soundcloud.com/wizanda

I love FL Studio, and a few 'purists' out there that I know have brought up this 'toy' thing about it. The only thing that I can think of, is that FL Studio is a $100 program, whereas Cubase is $479. What does this say? Maybe there is some better programming architecture behind it. But my question has been: Does it affect the sound? At the end of the day, when you render a song out, to its highest settings, will it be any different than that being rendered through Cubase? I would suspect, based on the cost of developing these programs, that yeah.. there might be a difference. But so far I don't notice it quite much. Anybody have more info on this?
Another thing, when I used to work at a video game company, I learned tons from the sound people there. Actual sound engineers, and people that develop sound professionally for games... they always said: "Whatever DAW you use, use the one you feel the most comfortable in. There is no sound difference."
And I always thought about this, but then I keep hearing this "toy" comment. Maybe it's more of an ego thing? FL Studio DOES look more simple, it doesn't look as "techy" as cubase, but I've found that simplicity to be especially what I need, especially when it comes to navigating a song that keeps growing and growing. Maybe there are users that feel silly using that program, based on the UI, so they go for Cubase; hence the "toy" comment.
I have considered composing in FL Studio, and then exporting midi out and then doing all the masterization and detailing in cubase, just to see how it sounds. But so far, I am more of a composer, once I like the structure of a song, I'm happy with it. And purists can suck it! LOL kinda kidding there... I do love a good sounding song, but masterization and that kind of things is definitely not my strength yet.

There are conversations on the ImageLine forum showing posts from across the web, where it proves there is no difference in sound quality.
FL-Studio is $299 for the Signature version; yet at the moment all plug-ins are on sale until august, so its even cheaper. www.wizanda.comwww.soundcloud.com/wizanda

Learned allot and found many techniques from projects and tried writing some; yet you know when something puts a spanner into your thinking, mines been finding a truly quality track to analyze, like analyzing Mozart's scores to realize trance spacial field dynamics. There is always more to learn and each project helps build a foundation, so we don't all sound the same on just trying to understand the basics. www.wizanda.comwww.soundcloud.com/wizanda
