fl studio error loading project!!!

i seem to expereience a new problem.... while i try to open my project it shows some error and shuts down i tried running a diagnostic scan on fl studio to c what the problem is but it still doesent seem to work...
also the backup file in the fl studio trash folder is not openin....
can neone help plssss..... |

I dont understand if the error is for all project or just one?

my laptop crashed while tht project was on and i had a back up file in the thrash folder which dint open either.
the message said somthin like windows has stopped this programme to function. and the error was only for this project.
however problem is solved as i loaded this project in fl9. wonder what why tht happened. |

no bro this project was created using fl studio 8 and the error happend.
it was after tht i opened the file in fl 9 and it worked.
i know projects created in fl 9 will not be compatible in 8 but projects created in fl8 will be compatible in fl9 |
