U can download the public release candidate one of FL8 now and it is again an amazing update.

Two things that immediatly take ur attention (beside the imo ugly cheesy new mangastyle background, fortunatly u can change it) is SliceX and the builtin Synthmaker plugs.

SliceX is the monsterbros of Slicer and it is just great. In short time u can edit loops in ways and built complete new loops or just perfectionise the one u got.

And the builtin Synthmaker opens its world of infinity possiblities directly into ur daw. It is awesome. Load the SM FX or generator plug and fulfill ur deepest dreams of sound design.

Of course there are more new additions and a lot of updated stuff and fixes..but this two impressed me right after starting fl8

Thanks u Imageline for this great update!!

And if someone of u gonna buy FL, do it now before the price raises to 199$, now it is 149$. U get lifetime free updates, so get it now and save 50$

slisex... the ability to send individual hits to mixer channels is more than enough for me.           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

yes i know that ofcourse... but i prefer to have 1 channel and be able to send each slice in separate mixer channels then fill the allready filled step seq page with more channels.

now i can stop sending each slice to new sampler channels.           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

I hope they improve its mixing abitilites... I often find it tricky sorting samples after FX-channels and not the other way...

And also better recording possibilities (like recording midi to audio in the sequencer directly like in ableton), offline processing and much more           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

yep, FL can learn a trick or two from ableton... Like cutting selected areas of audioclips, infiite zooming and indeed the 'management' of samples. It's always a huge mess with >100 samples, patterns, audioclips, efchannels... Ok, partly my fault but it could be better.

(but it still beats the rest on speed and intuitive working imo )           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog
