Fl Studio 7 and Axiom 49 controller setting up help .

Hi all , so about a year and a bit of messing about with FL studio , i finally decided to get me some knobs and keys to play with as well , so far i cant get a squeak out of it .. lol .. please help , im pretty new to all this as you can tell by now ..can you help me get started : )
sequencer : FL studio 7
sound card : M audio Fast track pro
keyboard : M audio Axiom 49
I'm on win x.p sp2 (if thats relevant). i managed to install the driver and get it connected but i cant get it working in my sequencer

well 1st of all, after u've installed the driver, put on your k/b then open fl and in the input section of midi settings, select the first....make sure that its enabled...n then to assign a controller, select the parameter to be assigned and open the link to controller options n jus tweak the controller u wanna link it to...hope that helped....cheers!!! |

chans , fraggletrollet , thanks guys <3 , but i just figured it out .. in midi settings --> axiom 49 .. enabled it and kept it at generic remote , i got sound now  ! .. was getting confused coz it wasnt listed in the default supported controller list .. silly me . now i gotta figure out how to record for eg a synth line im playing `live` while my kick and bass are playing .. any tips ? or how could i do a midi learn for vanguard filter cutoff to a knob here ? .. and jeez im sorry people , but im pretty much all at sea here , first ever gear .. any tips are welcome . thank you |

hi , dont mean to hijack the thread but even i recently got an axiom (25) , in fl assigning knobs on the channel strip (sampler) is very simple (right click and link to controller) but how do i route specific knobs from other non native fl vsti and fx to the controller ? right click and midi learn seems only of NI stuff so far , wich i dont use a lot , some help plz :]

need some help again people , i mistakenly uninstalled the drivers for the keyboard from the `safely remove hardware` option . Iv since uninstalled the drivers , cleaned the registry each time and installed them back 3 times and its still not working properly , i seem to be able to assign the knobs by the link to controller function , but the keys arent working . weird problem , what am i doing wrong . im starting to pull my hair out by now .. arrrgghh .. please please help me !!

ok , on checking the `safely remove hardware` tab again after my third installation :-
Axiom 48 USB Driver Properties - Device status - `This device is working properly.`
but in the sub folder tab ,
Axiom 48 USB Midi Driver Properties - Device status - `No drivers are installed for this device. `
Help me !
