If you really want to make great music with FL Studio and become more than just a hobbyist, you should spend time, effort and yes a little money on this journey. First step is buying a legal product simply because this is an investment in your future. Don't forget that you do not own the copyright on your own music projects if you do not own a legal copy! Don’t risk the royalties on your next super hit. |

i told you just for caution because i read it you are making an album, but is your desicion...

Have you worked on your project somewhere else, besides your laptop?
I had something like that happening, when I worked at my friends house on some samples. He had newer version of fl,so when I got back home it wrote something about "created in newer version".
I think, when you open your project that was created on flstudio 8 (and lower) in fl9,it converts it to a newer .flv format. The thing is,flstudio 8 can't read projects created in fl9,so...
So if you can buy flstudio 9.something,it might save your work... |

thing is i got the FL 9 last year when it came out, but i havent changed my working place, i produce 101% on my house only, in the same pc. im afraid every track now will get this error and im so afraid of loosing them, i already lost 2 tracks. and i cant get the new version of FL9 or whatver because where i am there is som block-age of credit cards..dont want to discuss the goverment dinamics from my country here..
im making zippedloopedpackage every second so i get most things of the project IF they gonna keep getting this error.

Well if you did buy the FL 9 producer edition you should have automatic lifetime updates, provided you bought the download version as this deal does not apply to the boxed version.
In Fl Studio click help - FL Studio homepage, then go to account, on the right side of the page should be a list of your authorized products with a download link for the latest version !
I would first go to the image line forum and see if Gol and co can help you with your problem...
Easy !
