FL problema..

hello.
i did half a track in FL10 then installed FL11 and opened the project there and finnished it. Now when i render it nothing happens, i had it on before i went to sleep and when i was back it was on 3% =) i did try again and again but same story..
any suggestions what to do? i cant open the final thing in FL10 and render it there.

you can create new audio track and resample there all audio from master bus

or you could try, exporting it as a zipped loop flp. then opening it in fl11 and then exporting to wav maybe? good luck, there nothing more anoying than loseing all your work. |

The ram may be a possibility just like Jonsta said, if not I would suggest contacting Reflex, Gol and co in the image line tech forum as it may be a bug that may be fixed in a future update of FL... Had no idea you're also using FL mate...

It can't be the 32bit-64bit/ram thing since he can't open it in fl10 and fl11 has more ram-availability. I don't know what causes this but have you tried rendering parts? Like: snares, bass+kick, leads, ... If you render some sounds in song length, and mute the other and it works for some parts but doesn't work on any particular part, you might know what causes it. I had a similar problem some years ago and it was a 'bad' vst which caused this. Rendering in parts saved the song and got me a final mixdown (too).

I change to FL 11 a few days ago, i just found a problem, if i use Trilian and Omnisphere in the same project and play some notes on Piano roll crash because memory and i use a Quadcore 6 gb memory.
But i know FL Studio just support i guess 4 gb memory.
FL 10 is much more stable and no crash when i use Trilian and Omnishpere.
Lets make a track FL USERS!!!

You can get over 4gb in fl11... Just bridge your 32-bit vst's and you make up room on the meter which goes up to 4gb. I have 8gb and went over 4gb without a problem.

I had that sort of bug on the FL 11 x64, it was caused by the Korg plugins, because as they are used in bridged mode once they are x86, they for some reason cause that problem...
its certainly a plugin that is causing that bug, and it seems to be a problem with bridging...
to me it was easy to detect, because the Korg´s are actualy the very few x86 vst´s that i still use
i think you can still render them as loops, at least i have managed to render internaly the sounds i wanted before delete the plugins from the project, but unfortunaly it seems to be the Korg Analogue and Digital plugins wich cause that issue, i allready reported the problem, and the flstudio developers will seek a way to solve it on next versions...
