FL automation clips question

hello , so i manually write an automation clip for say 4 bars ..and i want it for 8 bars .. is there a way to merge them ( i dont want to use the lfo tool?).. kinda like `flatten selected` option in the playlist ?

when u hold an automation point in the automation clip u can drag it right or left until it fits the size u want.

and also u can copy/paste it.

hmm .. nope that didnt answer my question .. let me be more clear .. suppose i want an automation clip running the entire duration of the track .. isnt there a way to merge them ..exactly like the `flatten selected` function in the playlist .. i dont want to use lfo to modulate the clip , i need more control .. copy paste wont work either ..same reason.. coz if i change some thing , then all the clips also change .. or can i make more than 1 automation for the same parameter and control them seperately ?

ok just tried .. apparently you can make more than 1 clip for the same parameter .. silly i always thought it wouldnt work ..
