So, I'm using Traktor 2 and i just made a mix with it. I recorded and saved it, but there's a small part of it that i want to fix it. Is there any way to go into the mix and fix the problem? I can go to Sound Forge and fix it, but I'd rather to fix it from the source. Thanks in advance.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I'm supposing you want to make a cd out of your DJset, and that is no the demo of how you are on stage...

Traktor let's you record all the steps you made during the set. So when you press play you see the program doing everything you did. And you probably noticed you can mess with the knobs and settings. But you can't change the playing of each track... the order of the tracks and length are already saved, and thanks NI for not letting us change that. So what you want to do, can't be done in Traktor.

So if you really want to make a cd, make your mix in Live, there you can edit everything. If not, just re-do the mix, you should be able to do everything again, or even better.. And it's good practice too           Super Banana Sauce http://www.soundcloud.com/knocz

Hey Knocz. It's just a little recording i am doing for myself and friends. I accidentally pushed the play button on an already running tune. I don't want to use Live at the moment. I prefer Traktor. Do you have a tips how can i do it?
Thanks in advance           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I am unaware of how traktor 2 records its set but traktor 1 saved it as an xml file which is basically nothing more than a textfile that you can manually edit. If traktor 2 works the same way you can probably just locate (after long digging) the point where you accidently paused your track and just delete it.

There is no guarantee that will work because it might totally screw over your timestamps, tho if you are lucky they are relative and you will just have to change 1...

I am using an evolution uc-33 and i don't notice any 'big jumps' are you sure your controller is configured properly and you are using the analog knobs and not some digital switches?

I guess playing and recording the set again is probably the fastest and the most rewarding way to do it

You could just play the last tune before this little problem...record it to a new file....mix a new version of this part...load both files into any sequencer and just use the scissors to fix your mix...           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

how do you manage to sync your tracks with traktor 3? i have my pitch bound to a slide on my uc33 but even with 'fine pitching' bound to it it still goes in 0.1% jumps which is way WAY too much and i refuse to use the poor man's sync button.. (which is highly inaccurate 90% of the times anyway)

My decks go .1% or .05% increments for tempo. Maybe your midi controller's slider just goes too fast. If you change the range to +-10% it should feel better, right?

You're talking about tempo slider right?
