Hey everyone!!!
Kairoo Records will celebrate the 5 years of (in)existence with a massive gathering!!
At this 5 years celebration our ideology is to unite the belgian tribe once more under one roof... in no less then 5 rooms!! The Skate Planet in Antwerp will be the home for this exceptional evening in trance...
So for this we invited several promotors to host their own room!! With the uniting of Purple Snow, Smiley Tribe, Suntrip Records, Psylence, Lysergic Asylum, B2B and Kairoo, we hope to provide you with a wicked night out in all the subgenres of the trance world...Full on psytrance,Progressive Old/Nuskool/Goa, Dark Psychedelics and Chill Out.. find your way in something completly different...
For our 5th year of anniversary, we present you a true KAIROO IN CONCERT!!!
All the bands will perform an exclusive live performance you have never seen before in Belgium...beware... this is why we invited someone who fits perfectly in the Kairoo frame...an reknown artist who added in his recent show s a very live gy-uiter fragments..ladies and gentlemen...mr Bilbo Bagginz himself....

COSMOSIS
Bill Halsey, the producer behind Cosmosis (and Mumbo-Jumbo) is a former professional session guitarist from London. During this part of his musical career he played with countless bands playing Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Pop and Hip-Hip, touring Europe and Australasia.
Bill says : "Being a session muso was a game of extremes; some of the bands that I played with contained some of the most incredibly talented musicians that I ever had the pleasure to blag my way onto a stage with. On the other hand many of the bands were way beyond bad and I ended up having to commit some of the most heinious musical crimes known to man on a very regular basis - in the name of making a living..."
Bill honed his writing and recording skills by composing and and recording pop tracks for over ten years before finally becoming involved with creating pure electronic music.
Now as much in demand to compose music for picture as he is for live appearances to play his particular brand of tongue-in-cheek, full power Psy-Trance music on dancefloors quite literally all over the globe.
During the last 12 years of touring Bill has played Cosmosis' music to ecstatic crowds in such diverse places as:
Taiwan, Brazil, Israel, India, Bali, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Colombia, United States, Egypt, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, Denmark, England, Spain, Ireland, Canada, Serbia, Scotland, Japan, Belgium, Holland, Greece, South Africa, Russia, France, Mexico and Portugal and plays regularly in many of these countries
He is currently involved in creating the music for several 3D computer animation/music projects for release on DVD as well as cooking up the new and soon-to-be-ready Cosmosis album, provisionally entitled: Psychedelica Melodica Watch this space ...
Bill now divides his studio time between scoring music for animation, making full power dance music and touring Cosmosis worldwide

LANI
Lani is Tim Kaelen and Tom Moons, born and raised in Belgium.Tim started playing bass guitar in the early nineties, mostly playing rock covers. He quickly decided one instrument wasn't enough for him and started experimenting with electronic music. This was so much better than just a bass guitar, percussion and everything!! He soon started collecting equipment and also started using software sequencers. He experimented with trip-hop, drum and bass, ambient, and techno. He started dj-ing techno back in 1998 and also had a live project called Yucon. It had a short life... in 1999 he went to his first trance party, what an eye-opener!!! In this kind of music, everything was possible!!Tom started playing guitar at the age of 12 and started his first band at the age of 15. But after some years he noticed that it was very hard to rehearse with many people and decided to go for a solo dj project and started dj?ing at local parties. He discovered Psychedelic trance at its purest in the forests of the Ardennes in Belgium back in 1998. After this he went for this new style of music like nothing before... He played at many parties and over the years he earned his place in the belgian psy-trance scene as Dj Jharu.They met on a small party in 2001 and soon decided they should stick together... Lani was born.Tom then introduced Tim as a dj in the belgian psy-trance scene as DJ Phasid. Both playing live and dj?ing, they played at many parties and got the chance to meet many well known trance artists, and some of them became good friends learning them the way to create Psychedelic Trance, also a NEW feature In the Band is WOUTER JANSSENS , our Drummer from now on to make LANI even more rock 'n' Roll , you have to see the live show to believe what is going on .... DJ Natan, Italian, born in Milano in 1964- Psychedelic trance dj, founder and general manager of Wirikuta Distribution Austria, mastermind of the famous/infamous austrian trance group Mystery World Squad, events organizer.
His music is hard powerful underground psytrance for acidheads, mostly dark and uncompromising. A menacingly jamming chaotic music machine building sets quite far away from the typical commercial forms of psychedelic goatrance.

DIMENSION 5
Dimension 5 was one of the first goa trance groups ever and released lots of highly acclaimed vinyls and cds. The group saw it existence in 1989, and around 1994 they released their first early goa trance vinyls, which they described as ?space techno?. Back then the group existed out of 4 members: Charlie Clarke, Graham Franklin, Kerry Palmer and Nick Wenham. They started their own label, Intastella Records, in 1996 to have total musical freedom. This resulted in the making of their first full album: ?Transdimensional? in 1997. This piece of art is extremely wanted but unfortunately it was never decently distributed, because of that this cd became a true goa trance legend. The fantastic Dimension 5 music was not only released on Intastella Records. Many of their tunes made between 1995-1998 were also featured on compilations of famous labels. (Transient Records, Psychic Deli, Leguan, Phantasm Records, BNE and many more)in 1998 the group got an extra member; Christer Borge Lunde (also known as Ra and Electron Wave). This resulted in another album; called ?Second Phaze? in the year 2000, released by an obscure label, Blue Moon in Thailand. Because of that this cd was re-released by German Velvet Inc/Nova Tekk.After this cd Dimension 5 stopped making music, leaving a great discography behind?and great memories for all the people that were already in the goa scene around that time!

Since the year 2000 Goasia into goa and psytrance music exclusively. Electronic sound greatly influenced on Balint since its very begining. Guess this is the reason why he so fond of electronic instruments. Older member of the poject and founder, Balint Tihamer, has continually followed development of this kind of music since 1970s starting with german "Kraftwerk" and "Tangerine Dream" to the representatives of english "new wave" and creative work of Japanese Kitaro, greek Vangelis and frenchmen Jeal-Michele Jarre, while the other member, Vladislav Radulovic a.k.a. Kanc Cover, entered the world of trance music in 1994. and meats with at that time popular Goa Trance sound. Explosive development of elctronic music in 90s resulted in creation of several subgenres. Goa Trance as fusion of ambiental, ethno, and techno music is one of them. It is Balint's contention, that this subgenre combines past, present and future of electronic music. This was the very reason that Balint go into the music bussines once again after a long period of absence. Continuous interplay of spiritual and dreaming-like soundscapes gives a listener the unique experience. When it comes to Balint's personal style, he would refer to it as the one containing the complexity of fullon and spirituality of the old-style goa music, in Kanc's words: "A Goa Trance with inovative bass line, as a way to bring closer the old sound to young listeners". The project is making an effort towards creating complex, yet easy-to-listen and to dance to music. Music is a joy in every one of us, and that makes the projects goal that as many people enjoys in the music it creates. Every single suggestion or remark of yours, Goasia reads with the fullest attention and appreciation. So feel free to write to us. The first goatrance edition, named "Pure Planet", in whome Balint is participating got published in July 2004. for Kagdila Rec. Beside psytrance, the project is also doing chillout music. The Project got a new member, previously stated, Kanc Cover, from the X-Raything and Opsy projects, in the year 2005. The very same year they had their first performance together at the Exit 05 Festival. Behind the production of symphonix are the brothers Sirko (28) & Stephan (25) Wötanowski from northern germany, better known as dj montagu & dj golkonda. They started in 1998 with djing & organizing events. They based Tshitraka and the first Tshitraka Party was in the beginning of 1999 in a small club. This Project grows up to the Tshitraka Project Open Air Festival, which is every year in northern germany. Their famous indoor party event is called Amarasya. After since years playing in several partys, like Indian Spirit, Atmospheres, Antaris, Voov, Two Moons, Arvika and etc. it was a question of the time that they start to produce their own music, to create their own ideas.The style of them is groovy progressive trance with psychedelic elements.

Playing under the alter ego of Deem-on, he plays powerful psy-trance with a touch of full on now and then. Morning and night sets are on Deem-on?s repertoire, promoting artists like Polaris, silicon sound, Indika, reflex, Black and white, pixel, wrecked machines, ?
The variation of music he plays will depend on the chosen alias, the wishes of the promoter, time and people he plays for.
In the years that past he also founded the 'Purple Snow Productions' organization, a party concept that stands for underground music in Belgium!

Dj Whizz started mixing his favorite music in psychedelic cocktails back in 2001 and since 2003 he plays in the Belgium psy scene on regular basis.His style can be described as psy/progressive trance/house with a new love for minimal techno.
