fit drums whit kick...

hi guys,im new on this forum but also im here a wile seen ur coments and so..
just wonthering how to fit perfect drum samples whit the kick
im using cubase 5 anda on sampler editor i set the sample to the same bpm as the track 147bpm
then i try to strech and unstrech the sample to fit it well but looks like doesent gut so perfect at all
any sugestion??
should i make whit vsts the drums?

1. dont use loops, program every single instrument.
that should do the trick xD
2. just check the time-marks in your daw, and make sure you peaks have the right position.
i think the problem is the sampler and no trained ears.
try audiowork, it will help!

If the Drum overlaps with the kick, the best way would be to click on the sample (in cubase) go to audio>spectrum analyzer>Freq log> and see the highest point of it and subtract that in eq to make a kick pocket. |
