I heard a breaks track by Hybrid one late night on the radio about 10 years ago. It was then that I decided electronic music was really worth listening to.
Later, I was looking through the electronic music section in some CD store and found some random CD simply titled "GOA TRANCE" with a Buddha on the cover. I bought it, loved it, and in searching on the net for other "GOA" related music, Infected Mushroom, Hallucinogen, Son Kite, Blue Planet Corporation, Spirallianz, and several others were the first in the genre I started listening to. After a while I started getting into the TIP World stuff and the Israeli sort of sound, but the more I investigated the music, I gradually moved away from this sort of sound into the harder, faster stuff I like today.

Sorry, I think maybe Zodiac Youth - Devils Circus was the very first pie-trance track that I felt something for, but IM stands to be the strongest hook !!

well these 2 were actually pretty popular and widespread in these parts (they'd pass EVERY friday evening on a local music TV station -- and people complain that the scene is commercial these days lol), hence my first contact with "real" goatrance (and I remember that I used to think that the graphics were the best mankind can ever make haha)
