First TIP track released ?

Hi all,
Does anyone have a clue what the first track released by The Infinity Project was ?
I found two interesting possibilities :
- on the "Dragonfly EP" : Feeling weird ( http://www.ektoplazm.com/astralogue/labels/dragonfly/bflt05.jpg )
- or on some obscure Butterfly 12" : Time & Space (if not the Black Sun remix...)

TIP Records #1 is a 12'' called Uforica/Stimuli by them.

when did there album on blue room come out (mystical experiences).. i previously thought that the dragonfly ep you have found there was the earliest release.. i have that project 2 trance album mentioned at the bottom (that all those tracks are from) coolio!

Well, the Dragonfly EP released in May 1993 seems the most probable hypothesis then.
I was wondering because Raja & Graham produced Trance tracks as early as 1989, but the commercial structures were inexistant at the time, and what's more, all they needed was just a few DATs in their pocket to bring to parties. When they founded TIP Records, in 1994, they had already written about 40 tracks. A vast majority of their production is then probably unreleased.

with The Infinity Project, Simon posford as Gumbo, 1000 Micro Dats, Total Eclipse...
but im not sure if its 93 or 94.

Great research Inu ! I think you got it with the 1991 Atmosphere Records 12".
I knew "Freedom from the Flesh" had been written in 1992, but I didn't know it had been released at the time. Interesting info.

Well in my tip collection i have the infinity project album feelin weird , astral projection trust in trance album , singles - infinity project - alien airport / hyperspaced , astral projection enlightend evolution , laughin buddah - infinite depths / andromeda , the deviant - stc / mururda my love , doof - mars need women greens nuns - conflict /cdr
on the subject of tip has anyone recently been on there site where it hasn't been updated at all , as i've had to buy there new releases from other sites ....im which i sent a email to lucie and got no reply !. |

The psychotools 12" is from 1995 actually. The Astralogue has that year wrong. |
