hi,
so after 1.5 years learning by doing totally from scratch i "finished" my first (and hopefully kind of) old-school (full-on?) track. ... let me know what do you think it is
it was a f**ing hard way up to here and i'm not absolutely satisfied with the result and now im stuck with loopitis and don't want to change any more elementary ... so anyway ... thats my current capability/status.
so comments/critics (mix/song structure ...) are very welcome!
please let me know what you think!

Very good dude. I would just say that the leads seem too much in the back compared to the bass.

Mix sounds good, however it seems like everything is kind of flat in the stereo field, like everythings sitting on your face pretty much from the getgo and doesn't stop until the end
also the bass at 4:52 is kind of dirty, not in a pleasing way to my ears- dunno if thats what you're going for
I think playing with some panning on your elements would do a lot for the mix

Thats some serious learning u have done i guess. Nice stuff bro. Wicked sounds n melos. But I gotta second willsanquil's opinion about the bass at 4.52.
The pause is as important as the note - Truman Fisher

You should work more and learn on the way, creating more tunes.
My advice: Think about the drum percussion.
-In an acoustic drum each instrument has it's own locations, having (relatively to the drummer) a left-right field, a depth and a height. you can achieve all thins with pan, volume, filtering, etc.
-Also all the instruments are tuned to fit each other, and are played in the same room. With electronic music it's easy to make a drum loop with sounds from completely different sets, played by different drummers, recorded in different rooms with different equipment, etc. So you can try to make it fit together in several ways, for example, put all the drums (except kick) into a reverb, and use the mix until the effects is just slightly audible.
-Psytrance is composed by more rhythms than melodies, and your percussion is doing only one rhythm throughout the whole track. Try playing the drum track one instrument at a time and quantize some of your notes, and overdubbing the other instruments. Do this a couple of times during a day or two and you will come up with many variations.
-Create a couple a variations of each pattern, glitching out each individual instrument, adding some delays or reverbs occasionally, or a long phaser or flanger over the high hats, reverse snares or crashes, etc.
-You can also think of an acoustic drumkit and all its instruments. Usually the have several toms, crashes and etc, and often add other "weird" sounds like metallic or wooden thingies to hit
I also have a personal tasty for moving basslines, and your's just stays in one spot.. I'd take the scale you are using and make a bass progression out of it.

thanks for the critics/comments!
i'll work on the topics more intensive for future tracks. currently i'm working on some dark stuff. i guess there's a bit more room for drums e.g.
