92% for explorer only means most viruses are directed at it. It doesn't imply quality. Considering firefox has been out only since september 8% is pretty damn good. |

I don't know much about computers at all, but what I know is that I was getting viruses frequently on explorer (problem for me, cause I usually can't solve that myself) and since I use firefox I didn't have any virus problem whatsoever.
Didn't know it came only out in september I am using it already all summer.....
@blue orb: of course you should make your own choices, based on your experiences, but did you actually try firefox!?

I use Firefox for 2,3 months now. It was hard in the beginning but now can't live without it (the button in the middle of mouse makes a one big difference). Although it has some issues with Hebrew and some Java, i believe it will be soon complete rival to Internet Exploder.

I use Netscape and just couldn´t be hapier with it... no virus.... but what thje heck... I´ll give that one a try...

Have you ever heard about FreeBSD? I use it form more than 4 years and it works. It's a UNIX, but by far more secure...
