Hello.

Just wondering if there are any Finnish progressive artists out there? The only sort of progressive / slower Finnish stuff I know of is Torakka... can anyone point me in the direction of some other stuff?

I think Kiiwa might be similar style too, come to think of it

Thanks!

I think some Highpersonic Whomen http://www.discogs.com/artist/Highpersonic+Whomen sounds quite progressive (I like it a lot).

Lets hope I get this right but Pelinpala is Tommi Sirkiä and Outolintu/Overflow is Jürgen Sachau - Together they are both Haltya and Highpersonic Whomen

I believe they are finnnish.

Best Wishes

Hi Krell

Yep, I have the Highpersonic Whomen album, it definitely sounds progressive. I neglected to mention that one too

Thanks.

there are not so many activly releasing artists/groups in finland, especially if we're talking about full on/progressive trance.

but these might scratch your itch:

There will be some nice prog out next year from Finland:

- Visnudata is a very nice act from Finland. his debut album will be released through elixiria.

- Kiwa is putting out a nice progrssive album on Exogenic.

- Highpersonic Whomen will put out a new album on Thirteen Productions.

Hopefully there will be more!

There is a track available for downloading. It's finnish
and it's progressive. I am currently working on a promo
and have some new tracks on the way.
