I am finishing my album finally. It's sorta fresh stuff somewhere between infected, prodigy, and typical Fullon. Abit sharper transitions and more live instruments. Let me know what you think:

Hey man! This sounds good!
where are you going to release it?

Is it you that play the guitar in the track
"its only the beginning" ? Man a wicked track, lovely...

Thanks Freeflow, what do you mean by where? Country or label?

I am from Israel but I live in US now so release in US.
If you mean label then I have no clue I know nothing about that yet. Hopefully my friends in NY can give me some directions once I am fully done with it.

I am mainly concerned in ppl liking it because what I am afraid is that I've taken it too far from typical Psytrance dance floor moods.

And yes I do all guitars and instruments myself. I originally come from music like Korn and other metal stuff, always wanted to make dnb sort of stuff but I didn't go too well for me.

Anyways to make the boring story short, thanks for listening I hope others will like it too.

Cheers!           http://soundcloud.com/exkor

Hey exkor! Yeah i meant which label.
i understood that you lived in the US as it stood on your myspace...

Hopefully you will find some cool label, im sure if you try and also dont say your story is boring, cause the truth is you need some kind of story to appeal people to your music, be it fact or fiction, you need some sort of presentation that say something about the project, be it anything.

if you can come up with such story without coming out as silly or too self centered... The music speaks for it self, all you need to do is to make a little presentation for it... for me third person presentations strikes me as silly, also presentations where it says that the music will make me go mad or take me on a cosmic journey to outer space.. or whatever idea the musician have.... i think its best to leave things like that out and let the listener judge for them selfs.... but a story about cosmic, psychological or quantum physics or nature or whatever can be cool, as long as its a story and not directed as a feeling of the music... more about your views on life and things...

Good luck with this project! i really like the sounds..

Also that youtube clip of you playing with your laptop is not in your favor...

And one more thing to add the track "Hello world" would definitely become much more groovy with some more percussion, maybe just some 16th hihat underneat it, some tsch tsch tsch tsch

Okej you had enough of me already

Hi Freeflow,

Which part of that track you feel like needs the hihats? (I broke it into 3 major parts).

Well, the laptop I agree with you, but I played my own stuff, and at least here in Boston 90% of artists play their own material from laptops. If you mix then CDJs obviously. In that video if you see I am pressing buttons, so actually each key on my keyboard is assigned to a different midi event, so I was actually doing a lot of live stuff over there, can't do that with just CDJs.

I will try to think about a good story to put behind it. Thanks for your suggestions.           http://soundcloud.com/exkor

In all 3 parts... the last one maybe just some hihat spins, you know like a accent on some beats, the 2 second part i feel that the percussion could fill out more, also in the 1 part... but just in those fullon sections... not in the more groovy sections,
the idea is that you mix it very low to make like carpet for the groove... also you make velocity changes in the hihat pattern of course

But generally the track could benefit from some cool hihat spinn-offs.. try it if it works.. in my head it does..
