I don't know how stupid this many sound but here it goes:

I already know the soundcard that I want... What I'm stuck now is what keyboard should I buy? just a simple midi controller? Or should I buy a keyboard which has more functions?

I like to buy a good one so I wont have to buy another one for a couple of years, and I dont have to buy another one due to lack of functions.

thanks

ps: if i said something that doesnt make sence im sorry... but i dont understand much about keyboards.

keyboards are only good for one thing MIDI signals.... if u want sound patches and effects buy a synth, and theres 1000000213124124 of synths and keyboards... go to the nearest music shop and ask for guidance! they should know what u need!

That depends on what u like.. usually, when i go to buy a keyboard i look for :
1) Touch control - the most important ( almost) thing there is.. make sure it has many levels of touching ( press hard it plays loud and vice-versa... ) - VERY important for a good feel.
2) 4 octaves and up - some will argue with me ( after all, the oxygen 8 has only 2... ) but i beleive that if u'r playing music, u need a big keyboard. 4 is the edge, 5 is better...
3) Control knobs / Mod wheel - there are several keyboards that has only the control of the pitch, and no control over anything else. search for a keyboard with at least a modulation wheel which can be assigned to any effect you want, or even a keyboard with some control knobs for the best live recording possible... playing the cut-off withyour mouse is not the same as with your hand...
4) get a pedal! no neccesery, but helps me alot when playing piano melodies.
5) if u dont need a synth, and OK with the computer sounds, dont buy a synth. only a control keyboard.

At the bottom line... i wont suggest any model, but as i said... buy whatever is comfertable to you, i know some will argue about what i wrote, some will add some will disagree about some, but generally, thats the things u'r looking for in a good keyboard.

OH!!! and buy a keyboard WITH the black keys! dont neglect the blacks!!! ...

space-k. if you are somehow related to piano playing [learnt to play a piano with a real piano] - you will be most pleased with "weighted keys" keyboard.
if not - get yourself what weaver pointed out
[especially about the black keys]

"aftertouch" is real good thing to.. try a keyboard with this and you'll see!!           "These psychedelic substances cause hysterical psychoses in people who have not taken them..." T.L.
