So last weekend I went to the Jean Michel Jarre concert here in Munich, and it was as awesome as expected. I would recommend anyone to go if you have the chance.
But, check out this video about everything that went into the concert backstage, how they hooked up 80 analogue synthesizers to play electronic music live in its truest sense of the word. That alone probably costs more than the entire P.A. for Boom. Which is probably why I paid 90 Euros for my tickets...but it was worth it!

Well it's quite a heated discussion if his older shows at the peak of his carrer were "live".
I have seen videos of his small tour with all the analog equipment on stage, and man those for sure are live and wonderfull.

I've seen him live. His drummer was faking the whole act. Kept looking at the rest of the stage to see if he was in sync and kept pointing at his headphones and kept hitting the wrong pads. Jean's 2 little cymbal midi pads didn't work either as he kept hitting them over and over again and no crash cymbal or any other sound was even remotely close to that trigger. But the music was good

Well, I had pretty good seats so I saw everything that was going on on-stage, and it definitely seemed live to me. I guess you never know with the synth players what they are really doing, but the drummer and cymbals were definitely live.
Still, it was an amazing show, with the lasers, video projections and the trippy music...
