i am very excited to announce the final (we think) and completely confirmed lineup for our 2006 event!

PRE-GATHERING PERMACULTURE INTENSIVE - September 18 - 21
On September 18th through the 21st Symbiosis Gathering and CSOUL proudly present a four-day orientation to permaculture principles. In a very practical effort, the crew will present a survey of principles important in organic sustainability and execute essential preparations to get the land ready for the festival. The staff includes certified instructors and activated individuals who will cover concepts such as:
Basic Permaculture Priciples : Mycoremediation : Agroforestry : Animal Husbandry : Healing Wisdom of Herbs : Nature Awareness : Swales and Gabions : Greywater Systems : Renewable Resources : Natural Building
Come onsite early and build an eco-logical foundation for the event.
Enrollment limited to 30 people.
TICKETS:
$75 early bird tickets until Burning Man starts (27 Sept).
$95 @ http://www.symbiosisgathering.com - online sales end september 20th

in answer to those questions before....
shpongle is just a dj set. pray to your choice of deity that we may one day see the whole live orchestra thingy in north america someday... so far it's only happened in japan as far as i know...
and as far as partial-price tickets, that's just not possible. we think $75 presale was pretty cheap for what you're getting. unfortunately those are sold out now, but $95 still isn't really that bad either when you compare it to other eventson this scale. if you just come for the weekend you'll still see most of the headliner acts.
thanks everybody for all the support from every corner of this beautiful planet. we are so thrilled to be able to bring out so many amazingly talented artists from europe, australia, south africa, and all over... so many friends old and new are being reunited this year for an opportunity to really throw down an international-level event in northern california. we hope everyone has a really wonderful experience out here in the mountains with us!

by the way - please visit the website if you havent already, because there is SO MUCH more than all this music happening at the event this year. we just put up some new info about the permaculture course happening onsite from the 18-21 of sept, a perfect something to do between earthdance and symbiosis for travelers.... |

I saw Shpongle live in Japan (7/2001) and - hmmmm...
it was weird. A straight-looking orchestra, Raja Ram dancing about and making funny faces.
I pretty much rather see a DJ set. Bring it on!

Shpongle played live in Isreal in 2004 (I think...) It was a very very crowded event and if you were not on the stage-first line up, forget it... But they gave a good show.
I am there for sure. When is Sun Control playing? Is it possible to know who is playing when? |
