can any one recomend any good filters that replicate human sounds...

I think they are called format filters...

i was looking for one to use on a mac

"Formant" filters is the phrase you're looking for, a variety of synths come included with them as one of the filter options.

Can't think of anything off the top of my head that is a separate plugin, though, but using the correct term should help doing google searches etc.

I heard MDE-X was cool. I havnt tried it yet though just saw it used in this thread.

I think the MDE-X comes as part of the Korg Legacy VST package. It can be used as an insert on other VSTs, but I'm not sure if it is sold separately from the Legacy collection.

run a search there should be some topics disccusing how to make formant sounds with bandpass filters, bitcrushers and other methods.

i had a look at the korg MDE-X and it looks good, but you need a doungle balls.. i dont like dongels for plugins i find that anoyng...

can any one recomend a good audio unit i can buy
