Hi there,

Im working with a track in ableton live 8, and im struggleing with filter automation. The problem is, that i want to filter several channels in with the same automation, but not all of the channels playing. Is there a easy way to do this? I have tried to use return tracks with a autofilter, but it dosent filter everything out for some reason. I have always used the easy way (just rendering alle the channels to audio, and adding filter afterwards).
Regards Emil.

I am not quite sure I understand your question, but you could try grouping the tracks together (command-G on mac) and then place the filter automation on the whole group...

But maybe that's not what your asking...

At any rate, I find groups a nice way to keep all the tracks in a tune organized.
