the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!! |

Finally had a chance to read through all of the pages of this topic, and I've made a long list of movies that I need to check out.
I'm surprised that nobody else had mentioned The Fall. Do yourself a favor and watch it. It's full of stunning natural and surreal beauty. One of a kind, such a gem. I believe I read that it was filmed in 18 different countries, and director Tarsem Singh (same director as The Cell) really found the perfect locations. And the story mixes well with the scenery.
A couple fantasy films from the 80's:
Labyrinth
The Dark Crystal
Just a quirky, fun film full of personality:
Black Cat, White Cat
Emotional:
In America
My personal favorite Tim Burton film:
Big Fish |
