>implying one can see a mix
I would really appreaciate if you had a little listen to my mix
maybe write WHILE listening to it?
and write down your exact thoughts
explain why if there's something specific bad
And also i would like to know how i could compress some more power in my kick, or EQ!

first of all.. ok beginning. but over 2 minutes until we here some real action is way to long for this kind of track.
I would loose the 303 sound.. or at least filter it.
the squeky sounds at 3:20 is nice. maybe a bit high though..
The arpeggio at 04:15 is a preset for sylenth i guess. loose that also.
good quality in production. but more depth in kick/bass
Hard to explain exactly how to get the kick/base to sound good. It´s an art form. it takes long time to really get "your" sound. i think we all struggle to get that PERFECT kick/bass. even though i think my kicks/bass is as good as ever, but i always want a better flow in the kick/bass area.
Keep on mixing!

Thaaank you ^^
i have finished every step now, well, added camelcrusher to the bass, and lowered the threshold of the sidechaincompressor on the bass.
now its on to the arpeggio, i don't wanna get rid of it since i sort of love it so i'd rather wanna do something creative with it
as far as i remember it's already been used by DNA in one of their tracks anyway
OH WAIT one more thing, its really hard to get the intro booming when it's in a 3/3 instead of 4/4
is there a way to change the grids on the midi so that it will be easier to make leadmelodies? o_o

Updated!
And to me, the arpeggio sounds KILLARh!
But i'm still hangin' on to the intro because i dont really know what to do with it, it sort of frustrates me hahahah
Re-EDIT: Oh btw, boosting the frequencies at about 60 worked quite well for the kick i think O:http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

So i'm hearing it on a left ear only headset, but i listen to alot of music this way here at work , and the kbass seems fine, i like the groove alot, only think the synths need some more presence, they are a bit low comparing to the kickbass
a very nice one

Hi man! Thanks! great to hear!
and i am a bit aware that my synths need more presence, and i'm trying to work it out by ajusting cutoff and boost the high frequencies but some leads just wont listen haha, but i'm not givin up http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

Here goes my review:
-Intro is nice but I dont really like when kick/bass comes in.
-Bass distortion sounds good but I feel like kick needs a bit cleaning like at 130hz, but maybe thats just my personal taste.
-Percussion sounds good.
-Break @2:49 could have more work.
-That 303 can be better like for example adding some chorus and reeverb imo.
-I think you can add some melodies or heavy riffs @5:13 because imho it lacks of a climax section, it stays a bit low in energy.
I hope that helps bro.

Fantastic! i couldn't agree more!
I'm also finding a different way to introduce my bass right now Added reverb to the 303, it sounds less loud, but it needed more volume anyway i guess!
Got my hands on some free glitch plug-in for my breaks, its quite hard to modulate/tweak but i'm gonna make something out!

Sup oni. haven't read all the comments here yet, but in regards to the bass, feels like too many of the highs are cut out. You could bring some of them back in, then lower the volume of the bass.

Sup Obelizk-
I tried to complete what you said, i think i mght have ended up with a louder bass but, isnce i am the biggest bass junkie ever and Micro Scan/DNA/perplex are one of my fav's that should be expected haha.
Anyways, i hope i went from mediocre to better at least xD
If i boos the high frequencies it makes this unwanted snapping sound.

I was talking about just opening up the filter envelope amount more or the cutoff, usually changing the cutoff once I have it tweaked pretty good doesn't help me get the sound I want.
To me, the difference between a good bass and a great bass is just how much of that high freq is coming through. Your bass definitely sounds solid - I checked out Micro Scan, and you're sooo on the right track to getting their bass. Their bass does sound Quadrafuzz-y as well. Don't know if you're using that but I'm 100% sure they are.
If you haven't done it, you could do a side-by-side check with one of their songs (i'm listening to Micro Scan - Telekinesis right now) and tweak the little details til your bass sounds like there's assuming that's how you want it to sound.

Yeah, i think you're right! a good bass absolutely needs to have that proper high-freq and still be bassy enough to pull it off!
You think their's sounds quadrafuzzed?
I havent distorted my bass yet, and i dont feel like distorting it unless i get Quadrafuzz, it sounds really awesome for distorting bass.
Is there still ANY way to get quadraf000s for logic? :/
