Hey!

First of all, please do not think I am here for the first time and want easy and fast info...

I joined isratrance a long time ago and read a lot, I just did not have to ask something, everything is there.

But now I really want to ask for your opinions.

I finished a set of tracks, which I think of as an "album" to release for my fun and that I can think of them as truly finished.

Could you please give me your opinion, advice, critique and whatever regarding the musicality, arrangement, mixing and "mastering"?

Thanks, Flo

Hi
Very creative melodies and all synths, i like most of them
Kicks are ok i think, just sometimes a bit too strong imho (Vienna)
Bass - mostly very quiet (but that can be caused by my bad speakers) and they all sound similar to me, but thats probably because i dont like much this kind of bass:)
Overall id put there more psychedelic FX
Im not a good producer however, so im probably wrong.

My favourite tracks are Rebirth (i just didnt like the acid sound) and Future People
And btw, what program do you use?
I hope i could help at least a bit. Cheers

You helped a lot more than a little bit,
aside from my friends, who are not into producing, I do not have anyone for advice, thanks!

Concerning bass processing, i just do not know
how _I_ like it, more subbass or more mids, how aggressive or warmth, what do you dont like about it ?

and of course, my tracks sounds often boring, but I just dont like all those fx...

I am using Cubase 4 Studio Edu.

I like more "darkpsy" bass, so more subbass i guess, but thats my personal opinion, i dont say its wrong:)
i wouldnt say boring, i just could imagine some nice fx there, if you dont like it its ok then

I think it is my lack of selfdiscipline, I like creating melodies and arrangements, but I
am to lazy to insert fx samples and sounds.

But I should try that harder

Thank you for your opinion!
