hmm in cubase u can't rout busses back to it self....so that was why i was asking for a trick...

maybe i should try the tone 2 warmverb (thanx @ psycox) but it doesn't offer you the possibillity like the real way (routing it back to itself) offers you...

and as colin said, the reason to do this is to experiment with feedback loops....           http://soundcloud.com/seamoon

ok new thoughts:

the classical way to do this is through a mixing desk.
but since i don't have one i just got this idea:

requirement: instead of a mixing desk, you need a sound card with multiple INs and OUTs (luckily i have one)...
so just rout the wet reverb signal to an output and take it back to an new audio track (trough an new analog input).
now you sould be able to rout the signal from the audio track again to the reverb buss....

i haven't try it, since i just got the idea a minute ago, but i think this should work....

ps: if you try it be really carefull since the feedback can get really loud very quickly...better put an limiter on the master...

as i mean warmverb make exactly this.
- put it on a sendbus
- set mix to 100%
- fx1- reverb
- feedback - minimal
- turn on feedback
so the reverbsound is routed back to the input of fx1

I can easily do it in Pro Tools, how would one do it in FL Studio?           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

why you want to root the output to the input? i dont see any advantage to it except for cpu ,you can use 2 plugins in chain insteed (insert or send) or maybe i m missing something (+ it give you more sonic possibilty ,inserting fx in the signal path or tweaks the verbs not the same , or even using 2 different reverb...)

@ POM

I want to creat a feedback loop.
send one reverb to another doesn't give you this result.

@ psycox

thx for your description, but this way afaik don't offers you the possibility to insert/add other effects in the feedback loop, as the classical way does...

in ableton live it's pretty easy to configure. set up a send, put the reverb on it, enable send with right mouse click on the send knob and allow it to feed itself back into the same send.

love live's flexible routing, no more strange stuff like with cubase where I had to create several send tracks at the start of a project or else wasn't able to route stuff. That was with sx3, don't know if that got fixed with newer versions.

Ah, this raises a question I had in mind and didn't ask yet. How can I route sends in cubase to a control track before it goes to the master. Let's say I want to filter out a whole track on a break - I always end up with send effects that don't get affected by the filter. hope you get what I mean, I'm pretty beat up from the night out In ableton I am able to route the sends to an audio track. Perfect solution. And no, I don't want to put the filter on the master bus, I might want to keep one element unfiltered.

yes you can only use 3 internal fx of warmverb when you use the linear routing mode of warmverb.

use a normal mixerchannel as reverbbus. then make a second channel as "reverb2". route reverbbus to mainout and "reverb2". route reverb2 only to reverbbus. the volume of reverb2 is your feedbackslider.make shure you start on very low volume to save your speakers.insert a limiter on the reverbbus to prevent clipping. add fx you want do reverb2 channel.
